In autumn 2009 we will publish our report on funding children's issues. The report describes the main challenges to be managed in order to guarantee a healthy development for all children living on this planet. It presents possible ways to get seriously and effectively involved in this funding field. The author, Dr. Burkhard Gnärig, shares his wide experience in funding children's issues as well as in working with local, national and international CSOs.

With the guides "What do I want to achieve?", "How do I engage with the selected project?" and "How do I assess the effects of my contribution?" the series of Active Philanthropy brochures written by Burkhard Gnärig is complete. The guides help donors to identify and effectively support civil society organisations and concrete projects that suit their aims best. Together with the issues "How do I find the right CSO to support?" and "How do I assess the work of CSOs?", both of which were published in 2008, the series helps donors develop a strategic approach towards their charitable commitment.
