Our "Next Generation" workshops address young adults or children from families involved in philanthropy. In our experience this group shares many common questions such as: How do I find my own position within the family philanthropy?, How do I cope with the social responsibility I am taking over?, or: How does my work as a donor relate to my professional career?
The Next Generation workshops provide a unique opportunity to discuss these issues with peers, and to get to know projects and the day-to-day work of organisations on a fieldtrip. With these events, we want to build a support network amongst family members aged 18 – 35, who would like to meet their peers and together explore how they could personally "leave a mark".
Example: Together with the Geneva-based organisation WISE we conducted a "Learning Journey for the Next Generation" to Vietnam. For the flyer of this workshop please click here.
