Brigitte Feldtmann is a passionate entrepreneur AND philanthropist. Already while running her father's tube wholesale business she supported a range of culture projects in the area of Hamburg, Kiel, Schwerin, and Rostock where branches of the company are based. A few years later she established her own cultural non-profit institution "Feldtmann Kulturell".
After selling the family business Brigitte Feldtmann focused her activities and resources on supporting young, talented musicians as well as on preserving the cultural heritage in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. She is convinced that every entrepreneur with a solid financial background has the duty to "share". In public appearances she repeatedly stressed this point stating that entrepreneurs should invest and engage for the benefit of society.
